I started Baby Begin, LLC in 2008 after life threw me a little curve ball and I needed to find something that made my heart beat again. I had become somewhat of a robot and so the thought of doing something on my own brought me back to sweet reality. After some deliberation, I decided to try it. Now mind you, I’ve never considered myself a business person. I am not a math person. I am definitely not a “natural” in the sales arena. I am also not one to venture out solo. In fact, I didn’t even know how to spell entrepreneur! But I did have one thing – a passion for babies and finding a way (be it very small) to improve their lives.
My husband said, “You should call it Baby Begin.” On a whim, I picked a logo and designed some business cards. Throw in a business plan, a supportive family and a few contacts and away we go!! It has been three years now and I couldn’t be happier. It is a joy to go to work now.
We decided to get on the “social media” bandwagon which included, among other things, starting a blog. So, here ya go – a blog about everything – but mostly babies of course. I hope you learn a few things, have a little giggle and come back often.
