All About Baby Begin

Jennifer Todd-Barnard, OTR

Baby Begin was started by Jennifer Todd-Barnard, OTR out of a passion to educate families on how to keep their new babies’ head round.

She has been a pediatric Occupational Therapist for over fifteen years. For eight years, she was involved in treating infants with plagiocephaly (misshapen head) and torticollis (tight neck). She worked for Cranial Technologies, Inc., which is the leading provider of cranial molding helmets. She has treated thousands of patients and been involved in educating physicians, families and other therapists in the community.

Jennifer possesses the unmatched experience and knowledge about this common and often preventable condition. There is a very small window of opportunity to affect babies and their head shape. Jennifer is dedicated to educating parents and physicians alike on how to minimize the risk of plagiocephaly. Skull deformities have numerous medical and social implications. She would like to see every baby have the opportunity to begin life with a beautiful round head.

Alison Jacob, OTR

Alison is passionate about babies. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and possesses the experience with torticollis and plagiocephaly that our families have come to expect. She has a calming effect on her patients and our families just love her. Another warrior for round heads and we couldn't be more pleased!

Nicole Winston, PT

Nicole is our newest member to the team. She is a pediatric physical therapist (PT) whose greatest passion is working with infants with plagiocephaly and torticollis. Nicole is a calm person at heart and loves treating babies and educating their families. She has very relaxing effect on infants and they all seem to love her.
