Baby Begin Stretch!

Torticollis (or a tight neck) is one of the most common causes of plagiocephaly. With an experienced pediatric therapist, early treatment of torticollis can help prevent plagiocephaly and future problems with spinal alignment and motor skills. It can also dramatically improve results if your baby is currently wearing a helmet or cranial headband. It is critical to treat torticollis as soon as possible.

Finding a specialized and knowledgeable therapist that treats torticollis used to be difficult, until now. We offer the most experienced therapists in the field that come to your home and work individually with your baby.

A prescription for neck range of motion from your pediatrician is required. Duration of treatment varies depending on the severity of the neck tightness.

Baby Begin Massage!

Infant massage is an important and often forgotten way to connect with your baby. It can be especially beneficial to babies with cholic, torticollis or overall tight muscles. It is the best way for you and your baby to connect and learn about each other. The effects are everlasting.

These classes are done in a small group setting and the location varies. Both parents are welcome to attend and all materials will be provided. Your baby will love you for it! Call for information or to purchase a gift certificate for your favorite new mommy or daddy!

Prevention of Flat Head Presentations & Workshops

This is ideal for moms-to-be and other parents interested in taking a proactive approach to avoiding a flat head.  We discuss “red flags” for potential issues, positioning strategies, carrying/handling techniques and advice on normal infant development.  Don’t wait until there is a problem!  Take action and educate yourself now.  We can come to your home for individual training or offer group discounts if you have friends that want to join you.  Please contact us to set up a class by filling out a “New Patient Referral Form” on the Contact Us page.  You won’t regret it.
